Supply Chain Process Improvement 2001 –2009

Leadership role in developing and delivering process improvements to global supply chain and providing SAP support and developments. Led internal audits to ensure compliance with SOP’s

• Led supply chain efforts to integrate mergers, acquisitions and divestitures into SAP and other systems. Included were the acquisition of Mcwhorter, Lawter, Hercules, ABCO and Sokolov. Participated in due diligence reviews and led North America and Europe site visits for business process and manufacturing process documentation. Worked closely with Information Technology to ensure project goals were achieved and timelines kept. This effort saved 10MM per year in maintaining five different computer systems and the costs associated with the consolidation of quarterly financials.

• Traveled globally to train supply chain personnel in PP and MM modules of SAP. This insured seamless startups with few issues on day one of the cut-over from the legacy systems to new corporate systems.

• Project management leader to install and integrate several third party software products into company Business Warehouse and ERP Systems. This permitted the reduction of global inventories and increased the velocity of the supply chain.

• Global ERP system trainer for PP and MM modules of SAP to insure system wide users were skilled in using advanced toolsets.

• Core Team member of numerous 6 Sigma projects to reduce inventory, identify aged or obsolete inventory. Mitigated obsolete and excess inventory resulting in inventory reductions of $9M and carrying cost savings exceeding $1M. • Leadership role in moving company to automatic pricing using ERP systems. Established rules, guidelines and control plans. These efforts reduced the costs associated with manual pricing of each invoice.

• Coordinated the exit of company from two business lines to comply with all sales contracts and blanket orders to maintain orderly market exit. Worked with business units to provide S&OP data.
