•Collaborated with Quality to discuss a CAPA to analyze the root cause of the inner body twist. Used IS/IS NOT and Fishbone tools and performed regression analysis to study the factors causing this phenomenon and decreased the occurrence of the twist by 7% and severity by 30%. Improved manufacturability using step mandrels.
•Performed design confirmation testing for multi cavity molds used in Exoseal closure device. Determined the root cause of the higher secondary peak in the closure device.
•Performed Capability analysis, Reliability analysis, Design of Experiments (DOE) and Gage R&R study for catheters using Minitab Statistical Software.
•Designed a fixture using Solidworks to perform bending tests using Instron.
•Performed a market analysis on competitive devices in the market considering their cost, advantages and researched on new technologies for a next generation device.
•Ensured that all appropriate documents are generated in compliance with Cordis procedures and statutory requirements.
•Set up test methods for Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm (AAA) and trained manufacturing personnel on those test methods.
•Completed J&J certified training in Quality Non-Conformance (QNC), CAPA, RCA and Risk Assessment.
