Description: Presently working for HAWK Project
The HAWK MK-132 is an INDIAN version of HAWK aircraft. HAL has planned to manufacture total of 126 aircraft by the year 2015 march. The aircraft will act as an advance jet trainer for the pilots who will be flying super sonic fighter aircraft in future.
This project will be completed in collaboration with British Aerospace Engineering (BAE); Drawings are received from BAE in various forms such as TIF, IGES, soft & hard copies.
By the use of these 2D drawings 3D models are created with the aid of CATIA and unigraphics software, further these models are used for CATIA NC manufacturing, NC APT source is generated which is converted to NC codes and these codes are verified (tool path simulation) and fed into the NC Machine for Part proving, further manufacturing activities will be carried.
