4. JOB EXPERIENCE:
4.1 Resume:
Serve as Manager of Drilling Engineer for ATG VII Chicontepec project, started the Drilling Engineering Department from zero, select personnel, services companies and materials, established procedures and best practices to ensure quality and safety in the well drilling process. Execute the project according to our client (PEMEX) requirements. Lead engineers team to review fields assigned to drill in a very close relation with geoscientist and reservoir engineers having very successful designs along all wells drilled in fields Furbero (HT/HP, Cretaceous extremely hard limestone), Soledad, Gallo and Coyula (depleted, high lost circulation risk). Responsibilities: client relationship with PEMEX, well basket, planning, design and engineering operations leadership and decision making. Wells type High angle (up to 75 ) and 1,200 meter of displacement in cluster platforms of up to 24 wells.
Worked for Meyer and Associates at Cuervito Fronterizo field (Petrobras Project in Burgos Basin (tight gas), PEMEX) as Senior Gas Well Drilling and Completion Engineer in 2008, main duties were Geopressure Analysis and hole stability, Casing Seat Selection, Well Planning, Directional Drilling, Well Design, Casing Design, Drill String Design and Down Hole Dynamics, Bit Selection, Hydraulics, Cementing design, Detailed Well Drilling Program, logging planning, contingency plans for lost circulation and well control, Drilling Operations, Engineering On Site Supervisor, government permits and end off well reports.
From 2005 to 2007 worked as Senior Gas Well Drilling and Completion Engineer for Repsol YPF at Reynosa Monterrey Field (Burgos Basin, Pemex), Geopressure Prediction and Underbalance Drilling were most interesting issues of this project. Reynosa Monterrey Field is known for being the most complex tight gas reservoir HP/HT in North Mexico, drilled more than 60 wells reducing drilling time and cost by redefining well design. Main duties: Well Design, Detailed Drilling Program, Supervision of Drilling Operations, Drilling Cost Estimations and AFE’s, government permits and End of Well Report.
Became Well Drilling and Completion Engineer with a Specialization in Drilling and Completion Engineering at PDVSA CIED (Development and Training International Center of PDVSA). Served at PDVSA (Venezuelan Oil Company) as Well Drilling and Completion Engineer in land and off shore operations from 1998 to 2003 in Barua - Motatan and Ceuta Field, well design, drilling program, offshore daily drilling operations supervision, on site engineer supervisor, AFE estimation, budget control and contracts analysis were main duties.
