- Weekly meetings with Professor Radke to discuss further experimentation and partition coefficient theory.

Polylactic Acid (PLA) Production Plant Design
- Formulated a process design for a PLA plastics plant using SUPERPRO.
- Selected the proper industrial equipment required to produce PLA plastics. - Optimization of the process to maximize production.
- Conducted a full economic analysis of running a PLA plastics plant.

Undergraduate Instructional Support Facility Assistant NRC Leader
- Responsible for proper disposal of all non-recyclable chemical (NRC) waste
including shipment of toxic materials to the necessary facilities.
- Work with a team to set up undergraduate chemistry labs for about 1500 students.
- Knowledge of lab safety, and chemistry principles required.

OASES Tutoring
- An after-school volunteer tutoring program for elementary school children. - Tutored groups of 3 or 4 underprivileged students, once a week for 3 hours.
- Acted as a mentor for students demonstrating the importance of building a solid academic foundation.

- An 8-week study abroad program in Taiwan at National Taiwan University. - Studied written and spoken Chinese with an emphasis on business terminology.
