Performance Evaluation of a Flexible Manufacturing System Using Deterministic Modeling and Discrete Event Simulation.

In this project we have considered a Flexible Manufacturing System and found its performance evaluation using deterministic modeling (mathematical modeling) and discrete event simulation modeling using Flexsim. In deterministic model we have modeled the problem mathematically according to Bottleneck Method and the parameters and the performance of the system is found out. In Discrete Event Simulation model, the problem is modeled by building the computer model in the Flexsim environment. We have simulated the developed model and collected the performance of the system and the results from the both models have been compared
