Product / Project Name Description

Vehicle Data Acquisition System (cRIO)

Duration: 2.5 months State of art product developed to capture the dynamics of vehicles equipped with Anti-lock Braking System in real-time. Brake performance parameters such as MFDD, stopping distance are computed dynamically and displayed instantly at the end of breaking sequence. Its plush GUI powered by drag and drop feature eases the users activity in configuration, acquisition and analysis.

Strain suite (cRIO, SCXI)

Duration: 2 months Great product that captures the dynamics of strain setup and is equipped with rosette calculations. Its display features is designed to facilitate user to compare the strain channels and also dynamically view FFT of the selected channels.

Noise and Vibration Analyzer (cRIO, PXI)

Duration: 6 months Powerful product that can acquire sound and vibration data at 10K sampling rate, perform online analysis while providing a gap-free logging facility in various formats like ASCII, UFF, XLS and WAV. Its online tacho processing, online order tracking capabilities, various display formats etc., are the highlighting features of the product. Its playback option and offline analysis allows the user to perform post processing operation on the acquired data.

On road data logger (cRIO)

Duration: 2 months Fit and forget type of rugged product that captures parameters like fuel flow rate, engine rpm etc., and computes the fuel efficiency of the engine. It’s equipped with features that ensure hassle free data logging. The rugged hand held display allows the user to control logging and displays the values of various sensors fitted to vehicle.

Fuel Cell test system (cRIO)

Duration: 1.5 months This system controls the fuel cell prototype test setup and captures the fuel cells entire performance trend that helps the user to modify and fine tune various parameters. System continuously monitors the emergency parameters and shuts down the system when the conditions goes out of the set limit thereby protecting the system, increase the cell productivity.

Tractor engine testing system (DAQ)

Duration: 2.5 month Control system that controls the engine safety parameters while subjecting the engine to various test conditions defined by user. The system sends commands to dyno to increase/decrease throttle, measure torque at various loads, measure emission from engine etc., and when the test is completed the data is transferred to various predefined reporting formats (*.xls) which provides print ready processed report to the user. Powerful reporting feature helps the user to group data in various forms and formats and facilitates post processing activities.

Component Test Software (CTS)

Duration: 8 months

Role: Focal Point

Team: 3 members Generic, intuitive TE (Test Executive) that allows the user to create test sequences, perform testing and generates results in various formats such as XML, HTML, MHT formats This TE works with ETC (Electronic Test Console) that is collection of PXI RT system, PXI chassis and Euro signal conditioning cards. The drivers required for the operations such as DAQ, closed loop Control, OPC Communication, Serial communication have been developed based on which projects such as G250 endurance automation, HCP automation where executed.

HCP (Hydraulic Control Panel) automation

Duration: 4 months

Role: Focal Point

Team: 6 members The HCP system is controlled by Siemens PLC and in order to automate the system an Allen Bradly PLC was daisy chained with Electronic Test Console and drivers where developed for OPC communication using Kepware OPC Sever.
