Project Profile:
RightRez travel automation solutions, based in Bloomington Indiana provide travel automation solutions to cruise tour operators and agents. The business considered to be one of the most complex models and Right Rez is one of the very few companies that provide IT enabled solutions for this business. Air ticket web retail application and carrier contract management application were systems build on ASP.NET, C++ and C# and were used by tour operators and travel agents to maintain their systems. The application was connected to a MS SQL database and major product upgrade during August was creating new database table structure for creating additional reports.
Responsibilities:
• Created and made changes to Database tables and stored procedures using MS SQL Server 2005 according to the change requests.
• Analyzed and developed requirements for adding BI reporting capabilities to the air ticket retail application. Developed Use cases, comprehensive test plan and scripts for major product upgrade in August 2008.
• Re-engineered airline contract management application; reduced contract data input time by 15 minutes.

Project Profile:
The claims reserve management application was an enhancement to the existing application developed over 20 years using INGENIUM, Java, COBOL, DB2 and CICS. The project covered code changes over 200 programs and 120 batch jobs. The application enhancement was critical for accurate reserves calculation and SOX compliance, ensuring adequate internal controls in the system. The project also covered migrating legacy COBOL to Java platform for web enablement.

Claims management application was used to maintain the long term care claims lifecycle from claims entry to pay out. The application involved feeds to almost all critical applications of the client. The project also involved migration of legacy code to Java . Lead a team of 4 analysts

Project Profile:
The FMS (Finance Management System) was based on ADSO-IMS and the client wanted to migrate from ADSO-IMS to CICS-DB2 to avoid license renewal fees, thus saving the client 10 Million dollars. The project went on for 18 Months with over 200 person team working during the UAT stage. The project was divided into 5 portfolios (releases).
Responsibilities:
• Part of the code development team in a migration project from ADSO-IMS platform to CICS-DB2 platform.
• Designed front end screens using CICS and extensively used REX to develop tools and scripts.

The capacity planning application was build on COBOL-CICS-DB2 on an OS 390 system and was used to maintain call centre call volumes and benefits payout information for the client. The system had a nightly batch trial containing 30 batch jobs.
Responsibilities:
• Involved in production support, bug fixing and job performance improvement activities.
• Acted as the Software Configuration Management (SCM) coordinator for the projects.
• Solved many Critical Production A-bends issues using DUMP MASTER/Trace Master/ Expeditor for batch programs and identifying long term and short term fixes with SLAs
• Data extraction from DB2 tables by using DSNTIAUL and load data into DB2 tables by using LOAD utilities
