- Reporting turbines instrumentation works.
- For one week I substituted an engineering in the power station operation room.
- During the last month of my period I worked in the main office in Khartoum for one per week assisting in reports and paper works.

- Commissioning and testing of substation automation systems.
- Commissioning and testing of protective relays.
- Commissioning and testing of power transformers, CT’s and VT’s.
- Functional verification of protection scheme designs.
- Calculating protective relays settings.
- Applying protection technology, methods of power system analysis and fault investigation.
- Responding to malfunction reports and executing maintenance.
