Performed development work (for first two years) on space weather effect system for Air Force Space Command (AFSPC) which encompassed space weather models for decision analysis. System was multi-tiered, 24x7 system using Java, Oracle database, PL/SQL procedures, UNIX shell scripts.

Served last two years on project as the full-time DBA (Oracle 10g on Unix) responsible for development, test, and deployed instances of the database. Performed maintenance, testing, loading of data for developers, installs, upgrades, some table design, and implementation of information assurance controls.

Managed the packaging and installation of software releases from integration testing to production releases. Wrote installation manual for installing the application and 3rd party software.
