I have over 10+ years of programming experience; including 9 years as a Software Engineer. I have extensive experience in debugging large complex systems. Technical Coordinator – Managed a 250+ PC node network with Avocent’s LANDesk management system. This network consists of a Windows XP frontend and a FreeBSD server backend over three buildings. Support both an Ethernet and wireless network. Responsible for imaging, patch management and upgrades of all systems and peripheral devices. Responsible for all helpdesk requests from three schools. Responsible for the establishment of user accounts including Unix startup scripts, Internet access and E-Mail accounts. Developed WEB pages for the District. Instructed personnel in the use of new software. Managed the disposal of district equipment including setting up a community give-away. Mentoring of Seniors and Sophomores on projects. Senior Software Engineer – Team leader responsible for the resurrection of the Network Management Product application for the Digital Network Products Group line of devices. Designed and implemented Java Applets to configure the chassis for the Digital FDDI Gigaswitch and DEC 900 HUB. Responsible for setting up a hardware lab for testing VPN software. Technical Team Leader of a group responsible for the development of the VPN Remote Access Configuration Tool. Software Engineer Designed, Developed and coded a working proto-type of Network Management for the AS/400 Responsible for setting up and maintaining development areas on the AS/400 for proto-typing new processes. Created new MIB (Management Information Base) for the AS/400 models to be used by Spectrum. Responsible for the coordination of Beta testing of Bluevision 2.1 at customer sites.

Software Engineer (client: IBM Rochester, MN), Designed and developed new network attributes in the AS/400 operating system. Modified IPL code on the AS/400. Debugged the entire high level IPL code path. Development of SNA primary LU support; configuration and setup of a communication system, both AS/400 and NCP. Tested SPLS and debugged code. Designed and coded API's for the product using a PL Type Language. Customer Product Support (CPS) for Multiple Communication Protocols on the AS/400.
