Experience Summary:
The programs that I have contributed to are TPCS/MEWSS, GCSS-M, SSES and RDT&E NETWORKING. Primarily my tasks include making corrections and changes to technical drawings and developing working models. Drawings have to be reviewed and fixed before final approval, so it is my job to make corrections and changes to the drawings so that the documents comply with standards. In order to begin the documentation process a model of the product must be generated. This is done by first gaining all key information about the object’s material make up, dimensions and its relationship to other components in the program. Once this has been accomplished, a model can be formed that then can be used to describe the object in a more accessible way for the customer.

Specialized Experience:
2010 - Present Scientific Research Corporation, Drafter II
Checked and corrected red lines, made fabrication, assemblies and rack elevation drawings. In order to promote constancy in our drawings I created drafting conventions to be used on all SSES drawings, with appropriate input from the SSES engineers and drafting team. Created Adobe PDF’s from AutoCAD and created AutoCAD files from Visio, Adobe PDF and Inventor drawings. Uploaded Excel tables into AutoCAD drawings and modified tables when needed. Created drawing packages with CD’s and print ups of all needed information from isometric views, fabrication and assembly drawings, cable and wiring diagrams and installation kits.
2006 - 2009 Scientific Research Corporation, Drafter I
Using Mechanical Desktop or AutoCAD to create an initial model for further development and made corrections to technical drawings to maintain quality in the documents, in order that our changes better represent the customer’s current needs and best practices. Over 200 hours of Mechanical Desktop experience. I’m experienced with Mil Standard practices and ASME Y14.100-2000, and proficient at maintaining said standards.
2002 - 2003 Key West Boats Inc., Lamination Technician
