Role of this company was providing technical support for up to 80 thousand users worldwide. Handled up to 600 calls a month and up to 40 tickets a day. Handled various types of hardware remotely including but not limited to: desktops, laptops, scanners, printers, faxes, and servers. This service also included trouble shooting various types of applications: Microsoft Office 2003/2007, Adobe Reader, Internet Explorer, Approveit, Pure Edge, ActivClient, ASUType, Flash, java, Air Fortress, VPN, and much more. Also provided support for Blackberry Enterprise Sever resetting accounts/passwords and also for various other applications CHCS/AHLTA and Essentris.

Technical Support Specialist: CGI, San Antonio, TX, 2009 to 2010

Role of this company was providing technical support to several different clients. This was in the form of either a phone call or by email. While working here the volume of tickets created daily was about 40 to 50 tickets. The technical support provided dealt with various different applications and components. Some of these components and applications came in the form of VPN, Tokens, wireless NIC’s, PC’s, Laptops, printers, Oracle, Maximo, and Citrix. With the latter of applications we dealt with password resets and unlocking accounts. Not only did the work consist of these aspects but dealt greatly on changes within Active Directory Some of the things that was required was that of changing expiration dates, adding permissions, members, creating Distribution List, resetting passwords, and also disabling accounts.

While working for this company my position was that of an onsite technician working with various types of hardware’s including PC’s, printers, and telephone systems. Not only did my job entitle of a technician but that of a system administrator. Was also involved with networking creating Cat5e and Cat6 cables, terminated ports in various rooms, Not only that but also worked with Cisco switches, and Linksys access points and routers.
