OBJECTIVES
To be a vital part of the Imaging Departments Ultrasound team as Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, to provide maximum quality images and to provide exams with exceptional diagnostic preliminary reports for doctors’ or radiologist approval.
FUNCTIONAL SUMMARY
Perform Sonography procedures per Doctors orders, assist the Radiologist and utilize a variety of diagnostic ultrasound equipment both fixed and mobile. Able to Perform:
General Ultrasound imaging- the complete spectrum of but not limited to: Thyroid, Neck, Breast, Extremities, Abdomen, Scrotum
Complete OB/GYN- protocols pertaining to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd trimester as well as Pelvic sonogram exams, General Pelvic and Transvaginal
Vascular exams- Lower extremity, Venous and Arterial Doppler, Carotid
