Major accomplishments include:

• Developed an Oracle Fixed Assets conversion program in PL/SQL for an energy company, consolidating disparate systems into a single data system using Oracle Financials in E-Business Suite environment.

• Delivered BI Publisher templates as part of an Oracle Payroll customization of Check Writer and Deposit Advice for a public sector client in Oracle E-Business Suite R12 environment and developed conversion programs creating payroll elements for maintaining employee earnings, deductions, accruals, etc. Also delivered a custom extension in Oracle Time and Labor (OTL) creating timecards for employees without manual input. During phase II of this engagement, I also developed Oracle Reports 6i in the area of Human Capital Management (HCM) involving employee accruals such as compensatory and overtime as well as employee dues and deductions.

• Developed business rules in Oracle’s Approval Management Engine (AME) for a leading genetics research laboratory for approvals associated with Compensation Workbench worksheets and developed package in PL/SQL for annual compensation calculation to be used by Oracle Fast Formula.

• Developed BI Publisher templates for Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR) and Sales Order within E-Business Suite for a leading provider of security software and replaced the seeded report templates with these custom templates. Also delivered a Supplier Conversion package to convert one time and on-going suppliers to Oracle Financials and implemented it in E-Business application.

• Developed a single custom table to support historical comparison reporting in the Order Management and Sales areas for a leading medical equipment manufacturer. Also developed a concurrent program within the Oracle E-Business Suite to extract data from the client’s current application and populate the custom table. As part of this engagement, I also developed a SQL Loader program to load the historical order data provided by the client in an Excel spreadsheet and configured a single business area and single folder with Oracle Discoverer based on the custom table for reporting purposes.

• Developed an interface program for a premier healthcare provider that extracted 5000 plus employee data from client’s database, wrote the data to a flat file and sent it over to a third party employment verification agency in a PGP encrypted file to perform Verification of Employee. The program was designed as a two step process, one for data extraction and writing to a flat file and another for file transfer. Both processes were registered as concurrent programs in the Oracle application and run sequentially as a request set.

• Modified an Oracle seeded Standard Purchase Order XSL-FO report to add a company specific logo and a signature on the Purchase Order for a leading provider of yellow pages. I also created a UNIX shell program registered as a host in the Oracle E-Business Suite, which included locating the NACHA payment file generated by a concurrent program, formatting the file, encrypting the file and transmitting the file to the client’s banking institution using SFTP.

• Converted a Statement of Account report running in Oracle 11.0.3 into 11i using a BI Publisher template for a leading solutions provider of air safety. I also developed an interface program in PL/SQL to update the communication data coming from the jetplan engine and implemented it in E-Business application.

• Developed Oracle Reports 6i for a nonprofit organization summarizing timecard by calculating the total hours worked by an employee on a biweekly basis. The report was also summarized for each department and for the whole company.

Major accomplishments include:

• Developed a Tuxedo service in Pro *C, SQL and PL/SQL to update a purchase order line in a multi-billion dollar ordering system.

• Developed a Promotion Engine, a PL/SQL package, as part of a Free With Purchase project, which was called from multiple client applications to assess the eligibility of any type of promotion when placing an order in the system. The program checked for the existence of promotions for specific customers, consolidated the quantities in an order to check for promotion eligibility and provided advice for each aggregated order line based on the promotion eligibility.

• Modified several Tuxedo services and Java packages as part of an Online Visibility project to show the status of an order at any given point of time.

• Developed a Tuxedo interface programs as part of a performance enhancement project to upload/download critical sales order data to the Warehouse Management System, utilizing Web Methods’ Enterprise Application Interface and replacing an old table based system.

• Developed a Customer Return Cancellation Tool using PL/SQL and UNIX shell scripting as part of a database cleansing operation to cancel all open customer return transactions hogging the system.

• Developed an Order Planning component of a Multi Line Multi Vendor project, building a Tuxedo service in Pro *C, SQL and PL/SQL to implement business rules to source a product when an order is placed.

• Developed a temporary solution in Microsoft Access to calculate sales order compensation for sales employees who work on a commission basis.
