OBJECTIVE: To organize work, schedule subcontractors and self perform work, coordinate design and construction, foresee and answer questions the client may have for their end use and to finish on time. My goal is to make the client happy with the end result of the project.
BACKGROUND: Responsible for day to day jobsite activities, directing subcontractors and craftsmen. Directly responsible for quality workmanship, on-time scheduling and cost control on assigned projects. I try to “think out of the box” on projects to make it work.

Responsible for “green” building of ground up banks, genome research facilities and tenant build outs. Remodeling of active hospitals, high security facilities, multi media studios and assisted in any heavy rigging for the company. Direct input in engineering and estimating for all client changes. Worked closely with the client to make sure the schedule worked for their needs. Having a “thinking out of the box” approach.
Project Manager and Gen. Superintendent - Fru-Con Construction, Ballwin, MO – Jan 1978 – Feb 2004
Concrete pouring, setting of machinery and piping on heavy civil projects. Setting and adjusting pumps and machinery. Quality control engineer on all jobs and subcontractor coordination on large jobs up to 38 subcontractors and field engineering surveying. Traveled around the country starting the dirt and heavy civil work, got the job “out of the ground” and moved onto the next job.

I was in charge of concrete paving on slip form paving train, estimated jobs and in charge of shop maintenance in the winter. Paving jobs included city streets, industrial parking lots, airport aprons and interstate and highway.
