General Operations – February 2001-March 2009

Safety is the goal at all levels of plant operations team players as well as quality of work for the customer. First assigned to DMT in the chemical operations department as Field Operator. Responsible for knowledge of procedures and specifications of flow-based chemicals. Loading and unloading chemical trucks and rail cars. Was also responsible for maintaining the panel board for two years and was responsible for the water treatment plant, sampling and insuring proper water flow throughout the plant.

CRYSTAR is a chemical portion of the plant producing polymer resin chip. Worked in field operations with complete knowledge of chemical flow and proper chemical mixing and chemical procedures.

I also acted as Head ISO Internal Auditor and helped with ISO external audits at all levels of the plant.

I worked in DTF which developed a polymer resin chip in a batch chemical system where I was qualified in all aspects of production. I also worked in ACT which produces a polymer, non-woven material and was qualified in three areas of operation including rail car unloading, field and wind-up operations.

Organized and maintained records on employees and safety specifications at all levels. Personally handled all training, qualifications, and OSHA verifications. Made sure that machine and material capabilities met company specifications as well as customer requirements thus assuring all order schedules and production standards were met.

Developed procedures for entire plant regarding ISO 9002 standards. Inspected the specifications to set standards of machine and material capabilities. Troubleshooting problem areas within machinery and materials to meet customer requirements. Conducted and organized all internal and external audits to meet ISO 9002 standards.

Duties included the set-up of machines, maintaining the safety level of the machine and inspecting all materials used.
