Key Experience

· Work with Onsite Business System Analysts to understand the requirements of the individual projects

· Create test plans and test scripts as per the functional requirements

Application

The application was a backend application that runs all the complex calculations for an Investment Portfolio

performance calculation product. The application is used by Investment Managers & Fund sponsors to closely

track the performance of the assets that are under management.

Areas of work

· Daily Security Level Performance – Testing of the Product built from scratch to calculate day-to-day portfolio

performance of investment portfolios at Security and Classification level

· Derivatives Performance Calculation – Testing the code by replicating the mathematical calculations done in

the code in an excel sheet

· Intra Period Performance – Split period performance testing at security classification levels

· Operational edits – Verification and correction of portfolio performance by editing portfolio holdings and back

posting of transactions

· Internal operations reports

o Testing Exception warning reports for performance, attribution and composites calculations

· Portfolio Analytics

o Testing OTC derivatives security feed to Analytics partners – Wilshire, Blackrock, Barra, Investor
