Maintenance and support of VMware environment, including the upgrading of ESX servers and vCenter to most current edition of vSphere. • Manage day-to-day operation by monitoring Enterprise Data Center devices and applications via HP OpenView taking corrective action when appropriate and involving the proper support teams according to escalation procedures. Ensuring the critical up-time in compliance with service level agreements and application requirements.

• Proposing and implementing standards to improve security and functionally of the server environment in a 24-by-7 global enterprise data center by creating and deploying scripted installs of HP ProLiant server images using Altiris RDP. Created standard templates for cloning and customization for the virtual environment.

• Coordinating deployment of new software, hardware, and services with application administrators, network operations, and network security team. Responsible for creation and editing of batch file scripts to help automate day to day processes.
