Customer service specialist of successful, fast pace and high stress logistics company with strict deadlines for large organizations. Work closely with specific customers to ensure superior service and customer relations. Also help maintain nightly operations to keep team members’ work balanced and continuous . Process domestic and international shipments using various freight carriers. Track and pull inventory of warehoused parts. Handle detail-oriented daily data-entry with Airtrak, a computer based program. Track and route freight, schedule pick-ups and deliveries and quickly solve or avoid issues based on customer needs. Work with financing/accounting department to handle pricing, rating and billing of shipments. Drive to make late pick-ups or deliveries when needed or any other odd job that needs to be done. Communicate with day operations, supervisors and owner to keep the business flowing smoothly. With no previous knowledge of any kind of logistics, became night operations lead after first 6 months.
