IBM GLOBAL SERVICES DIVISION 2000 to Present

AIX Advance Support Technical Solutions Manager Austin, Texas

IBM Premium Services AIX Advanced Support/CTS Team Liaison between development and customer management to define issues and resolve AIX errors. Assume customer advocate role in situations when problem resolution process has stopped progressing.

Subject Matter Expert (SME) in System Performance, Network Installation Manager (NIM) and Network Communications. As such I review, update & submit new AIX technical documents to IBM Knowledge Database, isolate application issues after AIX system updates by analyzing customer and application scripts and recommending AIX system C/C++ calls to correct application errors. Field Geophysical Analyst Lead Houston, Texas

Field Geophysical Analyst Lead in the On-Site Processing group aboard seismic survey vessels. Designed and implemented software seismic data processing system modules. Applied wave theory propagation and utilized wavelet, noise attenuation, and imaging techniques to multi-plexed seismic data. Developed velocity analysis expertise with Interactive Omega (Western Geophysical) processing software. The analysis was used by in-house processing teams as a standard for comparison after further data processing. Self-taught AIX Jr. Admin level performance monitoring, configuration, tape library and backup filesystem maintenance skill sets.

Master of Science in Engineering in Electrical and Computer Engineering, with a concentration in Software Engineering. Major Thesis Project: Within an Alloy Analyzer environment, built and implemented buffer on Emacs and Eclipse IDE.

Additional areas of study included RFID receivers and transmitters applied to poker table including cards and player chips, designing a MySQL database schema for multiple online poker players logs for data mining techniques, performing SQL queries and using GNU Radio to design Software Defined Radio receiver and transmitter.
