Prepare document, such as work orders, bills of lading and shipping orders to route materials
Contact carrier representative to make arrangements and to issue instructions for shipping and delivery of materials
Determine shipping methods for materials using knowledge of shipping procedures, routes and rates
Collect product samples by turning bleeder valves, or by lowering containers into tanks to obtain oil samples
Plan movement of products through lines to processing, storage and shipping units, utilizing knowledge of system interconnections and capabilities
Monitor process indicators, instruments, gauges and meters in order to detect and report any possible problems
Prepare document, such as work orders, bills of lading and shipping orders to route materials
