Education
Parkway West Career and Technology Center
As a student at Parkway West CTC I studied through the Cisco Networking
Academy. My entire curriculum was through the networking academy. I studied
things such as routing, switching, network security, VLANs, ect.
While a student, I competed in a Cisco CCNA competition against 100 students
in the Cisco Networking Academy. Out of the four events, (Online Test, Request
for Proposal, Tech Walk, & Router Configuration) I was able to place first in all
four, making me the Cisco CCNA competition champion.
During my senior year at Parkway West CTC I was able to maintain a 4.0
GPA while also being a part of many extra-curricular activities, thus giving me
the opportunity to be a part of the National Technical Honor Society. Upon
graduation I was awarded Outstanding Senior of the Year.
During my junior year at Parkway West CTC I maintained a 4.0 GPA as well as
joined Skills USA, a nationwide competition in which students compete in their
designated trade. With my strong leadership skills and dedicated work effort I
became Skills USA vice president for our charter. In the month of February I was
named Student of the Month.
