TECHNICAL PROJECTS
Autonomous Vehicle Project: Worked with a team to design and write a program for a Motorola micro controller to maneuver an autonomous vehicle remotely around a room
Nickel Battery Re-Charger: Worked with a team to design a battery charger on a breadboard with indicators showing when full charge was in effect. The circuit was designed using PSPICE to run simulations and test different criteria.
Power Scan 2004: Assemble a control system, PCB, and remote control that enable a quadriplegic individual to have control of several devices in their environment using, for example an eyelid or a tongue to activate the remote. This involved building the equipment from scratch, reading wiring diagrams, soldering electronic components, testing and debugging device for proper functionality
Budget cost design for a Fiber Optic System: This project was designed using MATLAB to calculate and produce graphs that show the least expensive fiber optic system within certain constraints and products. With a given “Bit rate and Fiber length” we produced a fiber optical digital system.
