ACADEMIC PROJECTS

Senior Design Project JAN 2006 - DEC 2006

• Formulated and constructed an electronic device for the characterization and manipulation of GaAs nanowire. Experienced the characteristic of nanowire creating Electrical field surround it and observe that the circuit performed as diode.

• Built a Piezoelectric floor using PZT (Lead Zirconate Titanate) material which would use for alternative energy source. It’s generated small amount of current that operate such electronic devices which need small amount of current.

Research Work JAN 2006 - DEC 2006

• Researched on gas turbine compressor of gas turbine engine and had tasted titanium alloy in lab, to investigate its physical, mechanical & chemical property which is the main component of the turbine compressor.

• Experienced Worked with the SEM (Scanning electron microscopy) machine to identify an unknown sample’s properties (Physical, Chemical, Mechanical) using Energy Dispersive X-Ray Spectroscopy and recognized the sample.

• Power point presentations and written reports were presented based on the researched data.
