Description:

This web based project deals with maintenance of shop sales through point of sale system supported by material distribution system for item maintenance at individual shops. All the shops are connected to an US based Database Server and each shop update the sales on hourly basis. Based on the sales made and the current availability of stock at the shop, warehouse plans for shipment of items. Packaging section does the re-packing of material purchased into smaller quantity salable packets. A barcode sticker is stuck on each of the packet produced at the packaging section. Every shop is equipped with a fingerprint unit and is used for identifying the regular customers to the shop. Promotional and loyalty discounts are provided to the regular customers visiting the shop. Surveillance cameras are provided at each of the shop and are accessible through internet by the administrator. Thus administrator sitting at a place can view the sale proceedings at any of the selected shop.

Description:

This module deals with the employee’s survey processing under the User and Admin. The purpose of the survey is to learn about employees' thoughts concerning how their work performance was managed at the University before the recent introduction of the Performance Development System. In order to insure the confidentiality of each respondent, the Human Resources Department has retained a third party, Total Compensation Services, to administer the survey. Information will be confidential and only summary data will be presented to Temple University. No individual employee will be identified.

Admin module contains aggregate reports of all employees like, only employees, supervisors, Job Classification, Years Worked, Gender, Department, Ethnic Group, Age group and CSV file Generation. User module contains end user submission forms. The aim of the project is improve the employees’ performance.

Reports:

Real time information collected will be summarized for reports and presented in table format like, only employees, supervisors, Job Classification, Years Worked, Gender, Department, Ethnic Group, Age group, hours of training received and tuition benefits
