Description Geocoding group at RMSI performs digital Survey of the addresses provided by the client, with the help of applications like QAS, Landmark Geocoder etc for providing the best suitable coordinates for the address at different stages i.e. Building, Road & Area with Locational Confidence and to clean the given address as postal address.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Input handling and preparation of data for further processing.

Data uploading into Sql database.

After Production of data in QAS, QC of QAS data and create MS access file for

landmark Geocoder Production.

Do the QC of landmark Geocoder data and give the feedback to the production

users.

After completion of Landmark Geocoder QC, create non Geocodable records

files.

Do the fixing of non Geocodable records files.

Create meta data of whole data, and start integrity check

Run Sql based check and Prepare data for Shipment. If found any error, fix it in

fixing mode.

Create file for Map info check

In MapInfo check, we check the Locality, town and Local authority. If found any

error, fix it in fixing mode.

After QA data is ready for shipment.

Write some programme in SQL to find error of production and QC users and

give the feedback to the team.

Create Ms Access file from Sql for users to check the Errors.

Prepare the document of Error analysis, Productivity, and volume and circulate
