Georgia SHINES is a web-based, statewide automated child welfare information system (SACWIS) for Georgia Dept. of Human Resources that offers case managers with the Division of Family and Children Services (DFCS) -- from field staff to regional supervisors -- a comprehensive tool for helping children and families to support children's safety, permanency, and well-being.
As the Project Manager and Technical Architect role, my responsibilities include:
* Analyze Business Requirements to identify IT solutions (enhancements to existing solutions, or design of new ones) and migration strategies
* Look at requirements and solutions from an enterprise-wide point of view, i.e., across applications and development organizations (i.e., factories)
* Work with Application Architects and others who understand the design of specific applications in detail
* Participate in the High Level Design (HLD) and Application Interface Design reviews to ensure applications implement the Solution Approach
* Help resolve architectural, deployment and support issues

As an Inventory management designer, the scope of my role includes design, development, testing, deployment and supporting the project.
* Created system designs documents to support the customization of Cramer and integration to other OSS modules such as Domain services, ISTM, and BPM.
* Developed Customer List and End to end View Services using the Carbon/ESB framework (custom framework of Bellsouth) integrated with Cramer application incorporated SOA, IBM MQ-Series and J2EE technologies.

As a Sr. Tech. Consultant for US Army, the scope of my role includes design, development, testing, deployment and supporting six different projects during my seven years tenure while leading a group of developers.
My primary responsibilities include:
* Following the established organization and Project processes and work instructions.
* Participating in the Integrated Project Planning review and approval process that involves conducting PDR (Preliminary Design Review) and CDR (Critical Design Review) meetings with client users.
* Coordinating with the organization's process area teams to draft the process/procedure documents.
* Learning about the Customer's business and objectives to identify and understand their requirements that include conducting JAD (Joint Application Design) meetings with the client users to obtain requirements.

Responsible for developing ValuAmerica’s title and appraisal software named VALUNET. The client, a bank, or a lending Institution transmits a request for title or appraisal services to ValuAmerica. Transmission is in the form of a fax, EDI (Electronic data interchange) or telephone call. ValuNet assigns any appropriate vendor for the request and on receiving the report, sends it to the client after performing the quality control review.
Key Contributions to the project includes designing and developing screens in the following modules: Order maintenance module, and Vendor module. Screens of master detail type and custom made reports. Unit test plans and technical specifications.
