Knowledgeable in statistical programming such as SPSS and experienced in working in a research situation from experiences in academic pursuits. I am bilingual, fluent in English and Spanish. Graduate Assistant May 2010 – August 2011

Performed research under Dr. David Perry while in the academic pursuit of a MA and was mentored by Dr. Perry while writing a thesis on “Sports Competence and Gender Typing in Children”. Lab investigates topics in social and personality development during childhood. Duties include data entry into SPSS, data checking for mistakes within our database, coding for particular responses, and observing and assisting undergraduates in lab duties.
Research Assistant August 2006 – May 2009

Performed research under Dr. Catherine Cottrell while in academic pursuit of a BA and was mentored by Dr. Cottrell while writing senior thesis on “Intra-groups and inter-groups views of an individual claiming discrimination”. Lab investigates topics in stigma and prejudice. Duties included running experiments, data entry, data check, data coding, assist in the organization of lab materials for ideas in future studies.

Research was performed under Dr. Graber, lab investigates adolescent peer relationships and puberty. While in the lab, I was responsible for entering responses from questionnaires into SPSS database and checking data for errors entered by other lab members. Also utilized endnote, to assist in creating a literary review on bullying in children.
