EMPLOYMENT HISTORY
LATHE OPERATOR
Studied blueprints, layouts or charts, and job orders for information on specifications and tooling instructions, and to determine material requirements and operational sequences. Adjusted machine controls and change tool settings in order to keep dimensions within specified tolerances. Moved controls to set cutting speeds and depths and feed rates, and to position tools in relation to work pieces. Started lath machines and observed operations to ensure that specifications are met. Selected cutting tools and tooling instructions, according to written specifications or knowledge of metal properties and shop mathematics.

TRUCK DRIVING
Follow appropriate safety procedures for transporting dangerous goods. Check vehicles to ensure that mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working order. Maintain logs of working hours and of vehicle service and repair status, following applicable state and federal regulations. Obtain receipts or signatures for delivered goods and collect payment for services when required. Check all load-related documentation to ensure that it is complete and accurate. Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions, following signals from loading crew and checking that vehicle and loading equipment are properly positioned. Drive trucks with capacities greater than 3 tons, including tractor-trailer combinations, to transport general freight, hazardous materials, and HAZMAT endorsed. Secure cargo for transport, using ropes, blocks, chain, binders, or covers. Read bills of lading to determine assignment details. Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage to the vehicles.
