Throughout my career, I have successfully deployed and managed network infrastructures and coordinated service operations. Skilled in technical support and customer satisfaction, I simplify complex technical information to provide end-users with effective resolutions. Some highlights include:
Automating and simplifying recovery systems to ensure data access without increased overhead
Protecting data by ensuring reliable computer systems operations
Maintaining technical documentation and reference material for training
Ensuring information control and integrity
Facilitating optimal use of technology
My MBA and BS both in Information Systems are from Point Park University. I also achieved certifications as an A+, Security Network Architect and Windows NT 4.0 - 2003 servers systems administrator. Dell, Compaq, HP, IBM, Lexmark and Kyocera certify me to repair and install equipment. I am a dedicated high achiever who always gives 120%.
SELECTED ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Improved disaster recovery. Serv Steel, a client of LANtek, did not have a disaster recovery plan. Client experienced a fire causing $150K in damages and lost data. Pulled hard drives, removed and re-assembled data panels. Developed disaster recovery plan installing external servers to minimize down time. Decreased systems recovery time by 50%.
Prevented costly data access delays. Verizon’s Dept. of The Treasury client had too many users than the system could support, delays and system failure. Conducted root-cause analysis of delay. Identified VPN on-site and remote password log-ins producing lag in system functionality. Simplified log in process adding flexibility for easy access.

Expanded service. Verizon wanted to expand systems access capability for Dept. of Treasury by creating a secure remote network access point. Assessed and exposed flaws with 2-factor authentication. Recommended decreasing from two servers to one and implemented a key fob access. Established new remote access and technical support.
Safeguarded information systems. A client of LANtek requested analysis of an employee’s laptop for a possible internet policy violation. Evaluated existing protocols identifying opportunity to enhance security network capabilities. Introduced and installed a software security program, designed to prevent unauthorized access to sensitive information. Setting up remote services utilizing Terminal server, citrix, vpn tunnels, firewalls, routers depending on each medical projected requirements.
Facilitated equipment repair at zero cost. Client of LANtek was experiencing security intrusion encryption software and system boot problems. Conducted equipment evaluation, revealing vibration of the cooling fan was dislodging PCI card on hardware. Prevented replacement costs by invoking manufacturer equipment and hardware service guarantee.
