JOB DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure compliance of company safety standards according to the OSHA regulations and procedures.

• Responsible for Preparing Hazard Identification for new activities as per the method statements.

• Responsible for Preparing Weekly, Monthly HSE reports and ensuring that all incidents and accidents are recorded / resolved/ distributed in accordance with QESH (quality, environment, safety & security, health) Procedures.

• Conduct safety inspections and audits and recommend additional measures for continual improvement and follow-up of recommendations. Plan and co-ordinate the safety induction and HSE training for the employees to enhance the occupational health and safety standards.

• Inspection of plant and machinery equipments, power hand tools, keep and update load tests of lifting tools and tackle.

• Ensure implementation of emergency procedures, first aid facilities and safety signs.

• Planning fire drills, evacuation drills and ensures drills are conducted.

• Conduct tool box talks, safety meetings and safety walkabouts.

• Responsible for reporting Department Heads on all relevant Health, Safety and Environmental matters.

• Responsible for advising site/ shop / office personnel of existing unsafe situation / methods of working, and recommending corrective action to be taken.
