WORK HISTORY
Dairy Production/ Supervisor
Jackson-Mitchell Dairy Products: Turlock, CA to October 2007 to Present
The position is multi faceted involving many different tasks. I’m in charge of Evaporator/Dryer Operations, Pasteurizer, Boiler Operation, OSHA compliance preparation. We practice GMP’s and HAACP guidelines.
Lab Work:
Lab work involves Titrate acidity testing, Charm tests, Babcock tests for cream and Standardizing and Vitamin fortification. Also Mojonnier testing for fat and solids calculations from product samples.
Sorrento Cheese: San Jose, CA 2005 to 2007
Manager/Production:
Supervision of a crew of 35 to 40 along with production duties. Responsibilities were primarily the same as above, however the production of powdered whey was involved here. I was also responsible for scheduling of employees and product shipped. Also Liquid Milk experience.
Boiler operation was also a part of the job here, start up and shut down. As well as various maintenance duties. Participated in several USDA Inspections.
Foster Farms: Modesto, CA 1990 to 2005 Production and Supervision
The job involved operation of machinery (2 C.E. Rogers Evaporators and a Dryer simultaneously) which are used for the production of powdered milk, and also the monitoring of the equipment primarily using computers to control the flow, temperature, solids, steam, selection of silos and various lab work. I also Supervised crew for the last 2 years.
One Evaporator has 6 effects and the other is a single effect, 6 pass. The job also involves telephone contact with customers and contractors during the off hours. GMP’s and HACCP in effect. Also participated in several USDA inspections and assisted State Inspector on many occasions with salt testing, press timing, etc.
Lab Work:
The various lab procedures involved were T/A Titrate acidity tests, testing, Infralyzer testing, Plate testing and Centrifuge tests for the production of milk
EDUCATION:
DE ANZA COLLEGE: Cupertino, CA Two years Business Management. AA Degree. Attended Bay Valley Tech. in Santa Clara for 1 year. Took classes in computer programming and Word Perfect.
Type 40 wpm.
BACHELORS DEGREE PENDING:
College of Automotive Management: Pleasanton, CA. Graduated from here with classes pertaining to finance and credit.
Also have experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
