Work History:
1994-1996 Nursing Assistant at Washington Center for the Aging, Washington, D.C., assisting nurses in caring for the elderly through activities of daily living.
1999-2001 National Institute of Health (NIH), Bethesda as a pharmacy technician. Prepared chemotherapy drugs and other drugs for intravenous use delivered drugs to the units, filled prescriptions, compounded drugs, and also packaged research drugs.
2002-2007 Staff Pharmacist/ Pharmacist-In-Charge at CVS pharmacy. Prescriptions were filled accordingly, doctors called for refill requests, medications reviewed, patients counseled, narcotics ordered, logged in, and counted monthly, scheduling technicians and allocating job responsibilities to them, transferring prescriptions to and from other pharmacies, and compounding drugs.
2007-2010 Pharmacy Manager at Safeway Pharmacy. Supervised pharmacy technicians,
performed scheduling of pharmacy staff, maintained all inventory requirements, administered pharmacy care like immunizations to patients, verified accuracy of prescriptions, counseled patients, adhered to policy and procedures of maintenance of records, checked invoices, and drug regimen review.
