CCI is the global leader in severe service valves for the Fossil / Nuclear power and Oil / Gas industries. With 2008 sales of $720m, CCI employs nearly 2,000 people globally with locations in the United States, Switzerland, Sweden, Austria, Czech Republic, Korea, Japan, China and Mexico. Key member of management team responsible for growth from $120m to $720m in ten years.

Manager of Project Management Sep 2002 - Dec 2008

• Reported directly to VP Operations and managed a staff of eleven direct reports. Each project was managed in a cross functional/matrix environment.

• Interfaced with customers on a daily basis, leading an order backlog of over 100 orders with varying size and technical complexity.

• Improved on-time deliveries from 50% to 80%. Maintained >80% on-time shipments for each of the past five years.

• Drove the company’s Operating Margins to achieve a seven basis point improvement through design optimization and supply chain rationalization.

• Managed a three-fold increase in backlog while only adding one team member.

• Established a team effort toward cash collections, teaming with Finance to attack collection issues. Reduced documentation issues preventing collections from $3m to less than $0.3m.

• Drove policy changes to improve commercial terms being accepted from customers to reduce commercial risk and improve company cash flow (progress billings/retentions).
