I performed countless electrical installations for commercial, industrial, municipal, and raw land developments, including shopping malls, industrial parks, nursing homes, and restaurants. Service call- troubleshooting.

Project List

Walgreens- Ground up installation of electrical apparatus from pipe underground to overhead. Installation of lighting, fixtures, recepticles and distribution panels. Approximate budget of 140k. Personel six to eight electricans per site. Overseeing two projects at same time. 8 to 12 weeks of time depending on sguare footage of buiding. Always well under time and budget. 11 stores in 4 years.

Payless Shoes Source- Ground up installation of electical materials. Remodel of existing stores convert to a payless shoe store. Depending on size of project budget could be as high as 60k to 30k. Typically two electricans for 3 to 4 weeks. 3 to 4 going at same time. Over 40 stores in five years.

Domino's Pizza- Same as above. Typically 3 to 4 week project. Budget from 20k to 40k. Two electricans each project. 2 to 3 going a once. 6 stores in 18 months.

Pearl Vision Eye Glasses- Ground up installation of electrical materials. Pipe and wire. Equipment installations to spec. Generally my self bouncing from store to store to keep ahead of G.C. for inspections. Budget approx 10k to 12k store only about 600 to 900 sq.ft. 8 stores in 2 years.

Ekco Housewares- Maintain 6 factories spread out over 30-miles. Install and upgrade electrical needs as company moved its manufactoring operations and expanded its product line. 1991 moved the Ekco facilty at cicero and armitage which was six square blocks and three stories high to Mexico. Disconnect equipment, label and make secure for transport. Then close faclity and add lighting and security cameras to keep people out until building was sold. Add small service to run these needs, so that we could shut down the two sub-stations inside to save on electricity. we at any one time had approximately 20 to 40 personel working with four foreman under me. Approximate budget depending on projects and changes range from 750k to 3.0 millon a year. Voltages were 4160 sub-stations transformed down to 480/277 voltage. Also a 55,000 volt distribution yard that fed the 4160 sub-stations.

Ekco Housewares-Bolingbrook,IL. New distribution warehouse. Add and automate used conveyor system salvaged from shut down of Chicago plant. U.P.C. readers,photocells,limit switches and programmable controllers. Frequency speed drive motors,packing and boxing equipment. 36-battery charging units to charge fork lifts. Approx 400 high bay 400 watt fixtures inbetween racking ilses. Outside lights wall packs around perimeter. 400,000 sq.ft.buiding. 14 to 20 electrican for 3-months. Budget 360,000.00. voltage 480/277.

World Kithcen-Monee,IL. In 1999 World kithcen bought Ekco Housewares,Chicago Cutlery,Owens Corningware,and Ferera Pan Company. They consolidated all the distribution to a 850,000 sq.ft. building. 78-recieving docks 78-shipping docks. 1425 high-bay 400 watt fixtures in racking isles. recieving office, shipping office and main personel office inside faclity. Two-3000 amp,480/277 services. One to run building operations,the other to run conveyor system. Installed motor control centers for conveyors,all U.P.C.readers,photo-cells,limit switches and air solenoids. A 80 space battery charging system for fork lifts. 18-75 kva 480v to 120/208 transformers for recepticles and 120 volt power. Too much to list I hope you get the idea. 4-men,12 hours a day,for 8-months. No time off. 1.6 millon dollars. Myself, I had to work 14 to 16 hours a day to keep the material flowing and laying out the work for the next day.

U.P. Michigan- 1.3 miles of telephone poles on private property to get electric and phone service to developement project. 25kw single phase feed from we/energies to residential transformers for electric in houses. 2 men, three weeks. 85,000.00 dollars. Cored the holes,set the poles with bridging attached,pull the cables. Transformer on every sixth pole for street lighting. 86 poles.

Mobile Gas Stations-Pipe and wire complete installation of gas/mini-mart gas stations. Canopy lighting,explosion proof feeders to pumps,isolated ground recepticle for P.O.S. systems. Generators and transfer swithes on some of the facilities. 2 to 4 men approximately 4 to 6 weeks. Budget depending on size 60k to 100k. Voltage always 120/208 or 120/240 with high leg.

Solar Collection Farm-General Foreman field installation and engineering. Supervise three-4 man teams every day on the installation of control and feeder pipes and wiring to main power collection and distribution switch geer. This included the ground grid for lighting protection as well. The lay out and excavation for sona-tube base to be poured with concrete.Pipes had to be in and out of base prior to pour.Bolt pattern had to be perfect also,so that base would seal correctly.

Wind Turbine Farm-Foreman in field installation of G.E. wind farm. Lead six-man crew in pipe and wire to pick up feeds stubed out on bases of three-hundred foot towers that turbines where mounted to.Six pipies on inside of towers on unistrut from power and control j-boxes in base of units. Lighting protection grounding grid around base of tower.

Generator Installation- 4-500kw,480/277v,Allis-Chambers natural gas gererators. Each transfer switch pick-up a 400 amp feeder to power critical load at facilty. 4-4 Inch rigid conduit with 4-600mcm and 1-1/0 ground piped from generator house to next 3000 amp service where existing feeders where intercepted brought into transfer switches. 4-men 12 weeks 12hours a day six-days aweek. 1.2 millon dollars. under budget and under time.
