• Sourcing & Estimation of Fabric Cost, Negotiating with the Processing Mills to fix the Processing Charges.

• Vast exposure in various techniques of hand printing like Block / Screen / tie & dye print.

• Various techniques of garment treatments like Garment over dyeing / Special washes / Spray effects on the garment etc.

• Estimation of fabric cost right from yarn price, dyeing, weaving & finishing.

• Negotiating with the processing mills and fix the printing & dyeing charges.

• Identifying, Evaluating and finalizing the suppliers and placing orders with the economical supplier as per terms and conditions of the company.

• Headed the quality assurance team of 12 members in fabric checking department & maintaining the inspection reports.

• In charge of fabric receipts & inspection, maintaining the records of the reports & reporting to the purchase manager.

• Routine fabric check ups such as shrinkage, colour Fastness, checking the count / construction and maintaining the records of the same. Well versed in handling the testing Instruments like Crock meter. Beesley Balance & Laundero meter etc.
