My duties also included contacting new candidates interested in new temporary opportunities through the use of the company’s internal database as well as its own internal recruiting resources. I was responsible for scheduling interviews with prospective candidates, checking references for all new temporary employees, negotiating bill rates with companies as well as salary negotiations of employees. It was also my responsibility to counsel our employees of any and all concerns of our clients or end our employee’s assignments if the client chose to do so, in a discreet and professional manner. RHI’s philosophy on customer service focuses on building relationships with both client and employees. This relationship building aspect of the position, in my opinion, was my strongest attribute.

Responsibilities: Extensive cold calling; including, but not limited to: New client prospecting, previous client follow-up for new requisitions. My duties also included contacting candidates interested in new opportunities in a diverse realm of technological occupations. A major emphasis was placed on contacting currently employed prospective candidates who may (or may not) be interested in opportunities outside their current place of employment. Diligent data entry was performed daily to maintain the accuracy of recruiter interaction with client companies, prospective companies and candidates. Coordinating interviews for candidates, reference checks and obtaining feedback from hiring managers were also a daily part of my duties. Negotiation of service agreements with companies as well as salary negotiations with candidates were also duties performed on a regular basis. Company closed its doors in December after several recession based layoffs.
