Work included: pole framing, setting, conductor untying, booting out, tension stringing new conductor, sagging, retying conductor, swapping load, secondary work, kick and sets, dropping old conductor all safely done with minimal outages. Followed by 240kv double circuit, tension stringing of bundle conductor on steel towers outside Edmonton AB. Replaced single conductor 1066 with bundle conductor 477.

Main area of work was transmission maintenance. Which included 240kv gulfport and modified h-frames, 345kv gulfport structures. Work included: structure replacement, single pole replacement, different variation of arm replacement, new insulators on tangents and dead ends, sleeving conductor. 69 kv live line stick work: changing of glass from the pole, aerial bucket and diving board. Worked on two different wind farm project where i successfully terminated over 100, 35kv stress cones and xmr elbows. Transmission construction including 45 km of 138 kv h-frames. All aspects of construction. Distribution work including 25kv live line rubber glove work mainly done on storm response throughout the maritimes.

Worked on a distribution crew based out of Pincher Creek AB. Mainly worked on overhead 25/14.4 kv. Installations. All aspects of construction were practiced- frame, set, string, tie in. Mostly taps from 1- 30 poles. Also responsible for safely loading/unloading and transporting of poles and equipment to our service area.

Worked on two 240 kv substation upgrades in southern AB. All aspects of substation was worked on including ground grid, soft and solid bus work, switch construction and setting,placement of breakers,pt's, ct's,large steel tower and bridge construction,extensive rigging, and control wiring.

Responsible for 25 kv. Temporary power at jack pine mine in Fort Mcmurray. Mainly underground runs of 1/0 and 500mcm 3 conductor teck cables. Installed and tested all cables, stress cones, switch gear and transformers. Also worked on 240 kv wood and steel structures. Mostly maintenance and line moves at Shell Albian and C.N.R.L

Responsible for the installation of 100,000 feet of cable on a construction project at Suncor in Fort Mcmurray. Supervised a crew of up to 12 men. Also responsible for high voltage terminations, h.v.a.c. system, and fire alarm. Was later transferred to a maintenance contract and was responsible for site wide temporary power 600 volts and under at Opti Nexen
