My name is Alena Zakharanka. I would like to work in your company during the summer of 2011! I am a participant of Work and Travel program. I will come to the USA this summer to work on a J-1 visa. This visa is sponsored by the US Department of State. It allows me to work legally for up to 4 months. I can work from May/20/2011 to Sep /20/2011.

I am a third year student of Belarusian State University. I study foreign languages (English and German) and literature. After graduating from the University I will be a teacher of English. I am fond of learning languages and I would like to achieve success in my future profession. I enjoy reading especially I like to read English literature. In my native town I went to School of Art (2001 – 2006). I was developing my acting abilities there and I became more sociable, open-minded and communicable. I always try to be useful for society. Last summer I was a participant of Action Reconciliation Service for Peace. Each year this Action organizes several work camps in various European countries. I worked as volunteer in Germany. I did not receive any payment, but a got experience in communicating with different people from different countries. As for my hobbies I am fond of traveling and sport. I am good at swimming, skating and rolling. I enjoy cooking. I am honest, diligent, self-disciplined and hard-working. I can always find a way out of any situation and I never give up. I am talkative and open-minded. I have such work experience as a waitress in café-pizzeria “Calabria” and in cafe “Laguna”. I always strive to have responsible and mature attitude to work.
