• Characterization of herbal sleep aids for drug facilitated sexual assault- an aid to forensic analysis.

• This involves the analysis of most common herbal sleep aids that can be bought over the counter and their main plant constituents (Valerian, Passiflora, and Hops).

• Study conducted on the interaction of herbal sleep aids with certain drinks including alcohol.

• Creating a protocol on the extraction of plant constituents from sleep aids and drinks by using TLC and Liquid Liquid Extraction (LLE).
