EXPERIENCE

Elementary School Teacher, Roanoke City School Systems. 2007-2010. I taught two years at Knight Enloe Elementary School in the third grade. I was moved to Handley Middle School to teach 4th grade for the 1009-2010 school year. I was responsible for lesson planning, parent conferences, class management, and some administrative/clerical duties in addition to teaching.

Pastor of Gethsemane Baptist Church, Bowdon, GA 2004-2008. I was responsible for sermon preparation, visiting the sick, visiting members and the unchurched, sermon delivery and oversight of the various departments of the church.

Pastor of Sandy Flat Baptist Church, Bowdon, GA 1996-2004. Responsibilities are the same as above.

Director of Materials Management, Randolph Medical Center, Roanoke, AL 1989-2004. Responsible for purchasing, shipping, receiving, Maintenance, and linen departments. Set policies and procedures, attended administrative strategy meetings, and assisted in creating the hospital’s budget.

Loy’s Office Supply, LaGrange, GA., 1982-1989. Responsible for a sales route covering several counties in Georgia and Alabama. Later moved to inside sales where I was responsible for stocking merchandise, arranging displays and setting and implementing various sales strategies in addition to sales.

Randolph County Hospital, Roanoke, AL, 1979-1982. Inventory Coordinator, I was responsible for shipping, receiving, stocking, applying charge stickers, filling requisitions, distribution and keeping the warehouse clean.
