In this position, I monitored inmates in their daily routines. Performed random checks of inmates on a regular basis. Supervised inmates performing job duties, and completed cell extractions when necessary. Implement policies, procedures, training and methods to identify and protect critical data from unauthorized disclosure and misuse. In the supervision of the inmates when performing their jobs, I had to make sure that the chemicals they used were within guidelines of the state. I also made sure the equipment they used was certified to be safe for them as well as the other inmates and correctional officers.

I maintained order and discipline among offenders. Consistently enforces and monitors institutional and departmental rules and regulations applicable to offenders. Supervised, observed, monitored, and controlled offenders as they participate in tasks, work details, programs, recreation, daily living, leisure time, and/or other activities at a correctional facility or work site; or as they are being transported from one location to another. Inspected doors, locks, windows and equipment both visually and manually to verify they are secure; report all defects or breach of security to supervisor. Stayed alert to recognize and report probable security or offender behavior problems.

Assemble light fixtures, followed by inspecting, packing, shipping and receiving of all products in a warehouse setting was my primary duties.

I perform a broad range of standard receiving assignments. Verify shipments by checking shipping documents. Match specific item identification by name, stock number, letter, code, quality, or unit of issue on containers. Unload incoming shipments, scan bar codes, or key receipt information into automated record system. I group items together based on receiving voucher information or segregates items according to such factors as condition and type of transaction. Builds pallet loads to facilitate storage. Reports tampered or broken seals on containers or damaged or deteriorating incoming shipments to supervisor. I transport materials from receiving areas to storage. Count and annotate types and quantities of items and appropriately signs receiving documents.

Store, stack, palletize and/or rotate items considering their use, size, quality, and special handling requirements. I apply material handling techniques in storing items provided for easy retrieval, convenience in handling protection from damage, and ease of movement. Match, check, and compare data on storage instruments with materials to be stored against materials already in storage location. Consolidate and arrange items in accordance with the warehouse plan keeping aisles and other traffic areas clear of obstructions. I use automated material identification equipment to move, stack, bin, and select storage location of items being shipped or received or to inquire on status of items. Maintain overall warehouse efficiency minimizing the need of excessive movement or restocking of items.

Mark and label containers, container tags, or products, using marking tools. Measure, weigh, and count products and materials. Examine and inspect containers, materials, and products in order to ensure that packing specifications are met. Record product, packaging, and order information on specified forms and records. Remove completed or defective products or materials, placing them on moving equipment such as conveyors or in specified areas such as loading docks. Seal containers or materials, using glues, fasteners, nails, and hand tools.
