SAMS-IE Lead

 Handled the day to day operational control of SAMS-IE system for the Mine Route Clearing Vehicle (MRCV) refurbishment project.. Showed excellent proficiency in whatever task given.

 Assisted in Material Handling. Received, screened, reviewed, and maintained supply documents. Monitored and inventoried over five hundred lines in Bench Stock listing to ensure accurate accountability of parts to include sensitive items. Utilized ILAP and LIW to research information for required parts. Also used contacts within DLA and U.S Army to expedite parts for the MRCV Program.

 Managed the reconciliation report for the MRCV program which generated more than 7,000 records, which consisted of repair parts. Generated all production reports needed to be able to brief the U.S. Government in our weekly meetings.

 Maintained proper accountability of all man hours for over 140 employees. Performed cost management reports in order to be able to save the program money. Relied on past experience and judgment to make the right decision in a timely manner.

 Furthered my knowledge on Material Handling, Standard Army Maintenance System (SAMS) and Overage Recoverable Procedures during personal time and after close of business. Thus enhancing my skills along with the company’s expertise on military systems, procedures, doctrine and regulations.

 Assisted customers to define, coordinate and track the status and advice on logistic planning and implementation. Kept every recoverable item that appeared on the Overage Recoverable report turned in. Filled out DA-Form 2765 to perform walkthroughs for customers that needed parts for Non-mission capable equipment.

 Maintained proper accountability of all man hours for over 140 employees. This made it easier for the company to keep track of man hours used and account for precise production control. It also ensured that fraud, waste and abuse were not happening.
