 Experience on designing, developing and conducting multiple projects on each type of equipments with the ability of trouble-shooting and maintenance of instrument.

 Selected, installed and modified SPE, HPLC methods and equipments including purifying and analyzing trace levels of raw materials of cyanotoxins, such as Microcystin (MC) LR, cylindrospermopsin (CYN) in crude water.

 Communicated and interacted with Dr Alvarez’ group in Rice University, Researched, developed and investigated HPLC methods on study of C60 photocatalysis of MCLR.

 Evaluated, developed and validated HPLC/LCMS techniques, methodology and procedures on analysis of CYN and its intermediate and finished product by TiO2 photocatalysis.

 Designed and developed improved HNMR and CNMR testing methods on structure, interaction, mechanism and kinetic study of the complex of MCs and cyclodextrin.

Research Assistant - State Key Laboratory of Biochemical Engineering in CAS

 Polymerized a series of organic/inorganic hybrid materials,Built a synthesis method to polymerize superparamagnetic particles with affinity property.

 Established systematical methods for characterize this novel polymers with XRD, SEM, FT-IR, and UV.

 Protein extraction and analysis experience utilizing affinity extraction, electrophoresis and Bradford skills, ELISA.

 Successfully applied these magnetic micro-particles on efficient recovery of protein with high economic and nutritious value from acid whey by a single step.

 Developed a novel system applied for protein purification which highly streamlined separation process and improved the production efficiency by more than 20 times.

Research Assistant - Institute of Chemical Engineering in ZJU

 Schemed separation program of an unknown flavones compound from bamboo leaves in a project supported by National Natural Science Foundation.

Developed a new way of solving a purification problem in the process. The results were quoted in a PhD thesis.

IT SKILL

Be familiar with various software for chemistry-related data analysis and processing, and HPLC and MS analysis software such as Waters Corp. Empower, LC/MS Chemstation, windows office, chemoffice, Scifinder, Spinworks, Topspin, etc.
