Roles and Responsibilities:

• Safety training in the applicable area of all new Terminal Construction Contractor personnel on arrival at the Terminal e.g. Behavioral Base Safety(BBS), Hazard Identification, Confined Space Entry, Permit To Work, Abrasive Wheel Hands on Safety etc.

• Supervise safety of Lifting, Scaffolding, Piling, Welding and other operations under Terminal Construction.

• Inspect Safety equipment daily and per schedule to ensure their integrity is intact.

• Monitor personnel behavioral safety and reinforce or offer appropriate guidance.

• Facilitate Risk assessment of critical activities prior execution and follow up to ensure compliance through project life span.

• Prepare Bi-weekly and Plenary Safety meeting presentations material using Power point.

• Plan and drive Terminal Construction daily HES Activities plan (audits, drills, hazard hunt etc). Follow up to ensure timely close out of identified gaps.

• Support Terminal Construction Engineers and Contractors’ Safety Officers with required HES assistance.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Continuously monitor field activities to ensure environmental compliance. Plan and participate in auditing activities.

• Active member of Incident Command Structure for incidents as required.

• Providing routine guidance on HES matters to customers.

• Actively participating on HES reviews.

• Oversee and maintain Field HES filing and records processes.

• Carry out inspection on contractor’s equipment and make reports.

• Ensure contractors meet and adhered to all company safety requirements.
