Role : ITIL Consultant

My role as ITIL consultant included the following:

• This Project involved applying ITIL concepts in the Info-com Department at ONGC.

• The charter included studying the AS-IS processes, Gap analysis and implementing TO-BE process. Best practices of ITIL and process migration towards ITIL standardization was suggested to the IT department.

• Conducted a survey in ONGC. Received feedback from various departments of ONGC. Analyzed the problems, drafted a roadmap and suggested ITIL best practices to the organization.

• Additionally analyzed and Studied SCADA system for managing various assets of ONGC.

• Learnt the various operations of SCADA in organization.

PILOT PROJECT - MBA

Project Title : Green Computing in IT sector

Period of work : 12 months

Project Details : This project aimed at studying the different areas of Green computing and to suggest a set of approaches to implement or enhance Green computing practices for various organizations. The project consist of various practices of green computing like green printing, virtualization, green data centre, Disposal & recycling, power center etc. In this project we have used energy calculator to calculate the energy in various sector of green computing. On the basis of it, we calculated the ROI of organization by using graphs and pie charts energy/power distribution in each sector.

FINAL YEAR PROJECT - MBA

Project : Project Risk Management.

Period of work : 12 months

Project Details : This Project was aimed to identify various potential project risks & create an awareness of risks throughout the life of a project. Identify way to reduce and mitigate various risks by using various tools/technique. The project consisted Integration of Risk Management phases into SDLC. Study of frameworks like ITIL, ISO, PMBOK, Risk mitigation techniques, Challenges in Risk management and suggested a proposed solution.
