Expected May 2009
Bachelor of Science, Civil Engineering at Maturi Venkata Subba Rao Engineering College, Hyderabad, India June 2004
RELEVANT COURSEWORK
Biological Wastewater Treatment, Environmental Risk Assessment, Water Quality Modeling and Control, Environmental Remediation, Environmental Systems Engineering and Design, Geographic Information Systems
PROJECTS COMPLETED
Master’s Dissertation - Point of Use Disinfection Process for Deactivation of Biological Warfare Agents in Drinking Water: The innovation of this proposed research is the development of water disinfection processes that can completely destroy spore forming bacteria such as Bacillus subtilis.
Modeling of Surface Water Quality using Water Quality Analysis Simulation Program (WASP 6): Water quality of a river in Idaho was analyzed using water quality analysis software WASP and various factors such as flow rate, nutrient exchanges between the segments, effect of nutrients on
water quality, methods to control the effect of nutrients were determined and analyzed.
Analysis of Earthquake Aftermath in Idaho using GIS: A brief report was prepared by analyzing and quantifying the various effects of earthquakes in case of its occurrence in the state of Idaho using ArcGIS and some of its basic geospatial tools.
Estimation and Analysis of Traffic Volume Data Obtained from Traffic Studies on NH 7: The project involved extensive traffic studies over a stretch of 138 km on National Highway – 7 in India. This project is a part of the North-South corridor under the NHDP (National Highway Development Program) and the data was used in the design of the highway under study.
