Work Experience

June 1998-present Nationwide Communication Services

Worked in Siemens IT department. Responsible for the setup and relocation of

network PC’s, printers and various phone equipment. Diagnosed cable faults

and other related network issues. Installed routers. Installed and setup POS

Machines. Worked with Norstar BCM, 0x32 phone switches including Startalk and

NAM voicemail applications. Installed premis wiring: cat 6a, 6, 5e and 5.

Ran and terminated feeder cables to 300 pr including direct burial. Completed

BICSI courses for cabling. Worked up bids and supervised cabling jobs. Terminated

both single and multimode fiber. Extended data circuits T1 and DSL. Obtained HellermannTyton Certified Installer certificate.

Jan 1998-June 1998 T.S.S.I.

Worked on Washington Mutual bank conversion. This included the wiring and

setup of bank equipment including PC’s, printers, hubs, and servers.

Oct. 1995-Jan 1998 MASTEC

Managed First Union accounts for the central Florida region. Duties included

scheduling of techs, training of techs, and service. Obtained 3M MS2 copper

splicing certificate. Also attended SYSTIMAX SCS installation program.

Aug. 1992-Sept. 1995 T.S.S.I

Wired and serviced first Union and NationsBank equipment. This included

IBM 4700 and 3471 controllers and related equipment, ISC concentrators and

related equipment. Phone systems included Norstar, Eagle, AT&T Merlin, and

NEC. Wiring included UTP, IBM type 1, RS232, feeder cables to 100 pr., loop,

twinax, and coax.

Worked various jobs while attending college. These jobs included auto

mechanics and construction.

Feb. 1979-Mar. 1983 U.S. Navy

Missile technician onboard submarine. Worked with binary logic computer and

other electronic fire control equipment as related to the maintenance and

operation of missile control systems.
