Objective
My objective is to obtain a position at a company that will make use of my analytical, mathematical and team player skills to solve challenges and improve processes with the result of increasing reliability, productivity and efficiency.
Summary
I recently earned my B.S. degree in Astrophysics from UCLA. My coursework and research required me to work extensively in finding time evolution equations for particles and systems of particles, waves and fields with the purpose of determining their behavior under different situations and how they evolve through time. As part of teams in labs I measured the mass of electrons as well as identifying gasses using spectral analysis. My lab-work required extensive use of spreadsheets to perform error and statistical analysis. Some of these projects required the operating of magnetic coils, electron emitters and other equipments along with the interpretation of circuit diagrams. I also worked in the search of extra-solar planets. My research project required me to find young stars whose ultraviolet radiation emission would facilitate the finding of planetary disks around them. These stars were found using NASA databases from the GALEX satellite as well as other techniques mentioned below. I therefore have acquired the necessary skills to work as part of a team in a high-pressure mathematically intense environment. My work enabled me to refine my ability to solve problems, find patterns, memorize processes quickly and organize them to produce reliable data. Therefore, I have all of the necessary skills and preparation to competently perform the duties of any technical, scientific, mathematical or engineering position.

Research Experience
Young Star Search with Professor Benjamin Zuckermann, UCLA 2010-2011
Searched for and located young star candidates of several stellar moving groups. These included the Beta pictoris group, AB Dor group and TW HYA group using data allocated from the GALEX UV satellite. This required heavy use of Excel, Topcat and the VizieR astronomical database to analyze stellar proper motions with the goal of matching the stars under study with the aforementioned groups’ motions.
Volunteer Experience
Volunteer at the Brea Family Resource Center 2011
Worked with various office duties with emphasis on data management, which included extensive usage of spreadsheets, powerpoint, document editors and outlook.
